2018

At the close of 2018 our financial indicators have improved considerably and we have consolidated our strategic commitment to industrialisation.

Our workforce is up 12.08% on last year. The percentage of women employees is 35% higher than the average in other companies in the industry.

A total of 1,796 Passivhaus homes have been managed, of which 192 have been delivered with Official Passivhaus Certification.

2018 has been a year in which we have consolidated our position; our 5% rise in sales and the increase in our managed business volume to 345 M endorse this.

Milestones

CERTIFICATION OF RESIDENCIAL LAGOS DEL SUR IV, BASA DE LA MORA I AND SCENIA II AND III

One of our greatest achievements has been to obtain Passivhaus certification for our buildings.
We are the first in Spain to achieve it for large buildings. We have even improved on the airtightness, cooling and heating requirements, surpassing the certification scales.

2018 has been the year in which we have consolidated the project we have been committed to for the past few years.
We have reached our goals and shown that our long-term vision of sustainability and energy savings is not only achievable but has also become an inspiration for other projects and companies in the sector.

CREATION OF THE FIRST SMART,
PASSIVHAUS-CERTIFIED HOMES IN SPAIN

The digital transformation has driven forward our projects and is key to our future success. We have always had an ongoing commitment to technology in order to improve the quality of our customers’ lives and this year we successfully completed building of our new SmartHomes. Homes with the capacity to carry out sustainable energy resource management. Designed to make the most of materials and equipment in terms of comfort and performance.

INCREASING COST-EFFECTIVENESS

We strive to improve our homes and to continue innovating in the building industry. Improving the cost-effectiveness of our projects is key to achieving solid growth. Innovations in our work processes and optimisation of resources have meant that Grupo Lobe has been able to increase cost-effectiveness over the past year.

SPONSORSHIP OF THE WOMEN’S INDOOR FOOTBALL TEAM

Through this agreement Grupo LOBE has become one of the main sponsors of Aragon’s Women’s Indoor Football Club. We celebrated the team’s permanence in first division with a visit by the “Sala Zaragoza” women who presented us with the Zaragoza, Women and Sport Award in gratitude for our sponsorship.

AWARDS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Among the most important awards and acknowledgements we received was the Passivhaus Certificate in Munich, presented for Residencial SCENIA II. This property development has also received the special “Premios 3 de Abril” Award in the “Town Planning and Architecture” category. In the 38th Edition of the 2019 JAULÍN – IN DEFENCE OF NATURE AWARDS, Grupo Lobe received a prize in the national awards category. Furthermore, Juan Carlos Bandrés was presented with the Award for Professional Excellence by the Rotary Club for his business vision.
