2017-2020 Strategic Plan
In 2016 we presented a strategic plan which comprised the biggest challenge in our history to-date as an organisation, but also one that was the most ambitious ever seen in energy efficiency in the residential construction sector in Spain.
THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THIS PLAN ARE LINKED TO 3 KEY ASPECTS OF OUR ORGANISATION’S STRATEGY:
TALENT MANAGEMENT
We are recruiting new types of professional and developing the abilities and skills of those who make up the LOBE team, consolidating the primary route to innovation. Thus, we grow steadily more competitive through this human and technical talent, which is organised into high-performance teams.
INNOVATION
The GLOBE Project has been and continues to be a distinctive milestone in works planning, control and monitoring that, together with the consolidation and evolution of all our other innovation projects, has brought forth the new vision that is technology applied to the new construction sector.
SUSTAINABILITY & ENERGY EFFICIENCY
We are working under design criteria to measure and minimise the Carbon Footprint of our work – achieving goals that extend far beyond our environmental responsibility.
Grupo Lobe intends to build 1,066 Passivhaus-certified residential units from 2017-2020.
These units comprise 126,636 m2 usable area. According to official figure, this means that the equivalent of the CO2 absorbed by 84,424 trees will no longer be emitted, i.e. 5.6 times the size of Retiro Park, Madrid.
In order to achieve this strategic plan, Grupo LOBE redesigned its organisational structure (notable for its constant evolution). Six strategic departments have been created, supported by two transversal areas (administration-finance and human resources, which serve the whole organisation).
